I cannot find a title for this.....

I am too sensitive to violence. I can't even watch movies where people hold guns. Thus, I have never believed that any form of violence could lead to democracy and freedom. I am not denying that violence is part of human behavior, I am simply saying that me, as an individal, cannot deal with it. There are people who are suffering all over the world, whose rights are denied, whose freedom is pinioned. This morning I woke up reading a report on Abu Ghraib. I am wondering how people who saw the fear and sufference they caused in other human beings' eyes can sleep serenely during the night. Where Iraqis the people they saved from a regime (thus bringing in this country freedom and peace) or the enemy? How could they distinguish between the liberated Iraqi who was going to enjoy democracy and the bad Iraqi belonging to the axis of evil? After all, human beings are human beings.
