Khamasin

It's the name of a specific weather condition that affects Egypt, at this point in time. It's a warm wind coming from the desert which carries with it lots and lots of dust and sand. If you look outside, you get the impression of being on a foggy day in the Pianura Padana. You can't see anything. When you walk you breath dust, eat dust, munch on sand. Don't you dare cleaning your house. It's not worth it because dust penetrates everywhere, you can't avoid it.

Yesterday when I went back home I was ready to dig in the sand, like Indiana Jones or Professor Hawass ready to discover a new Valley of Kings in my living room, as I left the balcony open all day long. Unfortunately, when I entered the living room, I only found two hungry cats =)
