The Simpsons speak ammeia better than me

Besides keeping me and Youssef company in the evening, the Simpons have reached Cairo. The treacherous American family has changed its name into Shamsson, Homer chose to call himself Omar and Bart, Badr. They also speak Egyptian Arabic. Of course language is a good tool to convey messages. In this case, the cartoon was not dubbed into classical Arabic, because this is the language of educational programs and series, especially for children. The Simpsons instead just inted to be pure entertainment for grown ups.
Basically I agree, 'cause I have never considered them suitable for young minds...
PS: I wonder if Lisa changed her name or if she struggled firmly against discrimination....

You are right....I never felt the simpsons are suitable for youngsters...didn't like the arabic one though...maybe coz I generally don't like when foreign cartoons are introduced in Arabic language they lose a lot the original essence :)
